To protect against the uncontrolled distribution of specific engineering, vulnerability, or detailed design information about proposed or existing critical infrastructure, the ISO restricts access to materials deemed to be Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII). Access to such information must be requested and then granted by the ISO. Without this access, you cannot view ISO-posted materials marked as CEII. As an example, your web browser will return an error message if you attempt to open CEII materials without the proper digital certificate (or authorized credentials for discrete requests) issued by the ISO.
An individual must be granted access to CEII materials under the control of or posted by the ISO. Materials include CEII materials about long-term committees or working groups, such as the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) or Reliability Committee (RC); the Interconnection Request (IR) process; and discrete data requests (i.e., requests for specific information contained within CEII materials).
